HOUSEMAN & BUHL RECOGNIZE U.S. 4-CROSS TITLES
Two gravity veterans won the U.S. 4-Cross National Championships in Angel Fire, NM. Rich Houseman (Temecula (CA) claimed the stars and stripes jersey for the pros men while Melissa Buhl won the title pro women.

Houseman dominated the Angel Fire 4X course and beat 30 of the nation’s best professional riders. Blake Carney (Camarillo (CA), Chris Boice, Albuquerque (NM) and Joseph Backus, Mesa (AZ) all put in impressive performances. After the final, they finished second, third, and fourth respectively in the early rounds. Houseman won the right to be nominated to the U.S. World Championship4X squad, which will travel to Val di Sol in Italy in mid-July.

Buhl won the national championship in a similar fashion to Jessica Vogt (Boulder CO) and Neven Steinmetz, who finished third. Buhl won the World Cup course at Angel Fire and was eligible for the U.S. Worlds4X team.
